Loader Vs, Big Dirt Scoop?

Hey Tres! I actually have a KK 24" left over from a non loader tractor. I still use it. They are great to trench with. Instead of a 60" trench you can have a 24" one. I use the loader to move the pile I did up with the scoop. I think I would buy the KK 24" or 30" to allow to move some material until I could afford the loader, but as far as buying the 60" rear scoop sounds too much. Especially since you won't have down pressure. I dought you will dig much with the 60". I use my 24" with a little tilt and that thing will stab right in the ground. Then because it isn't that large with front weight of loader it can lift the material straight up no problem. They both have their applications.

Twanger; that sounds like a plan. Maybe I will bail and do a 30 or 36" scoop., sounds like that is the best plan.

Like moving my 20 ft. boat (on a trailer) out of my pole barn using a tooth from my toothbar yesterday.

John,

To be fair, 2K, to us regulars, is a lot o' dough.
