I've got a 2001 Kubota L4310, the problem I've got is when I want to lower the loader, the lever won't push into the lower position. It use to pop into the drop position, but now it won't go in at all. I've never got into a valve body and not sure if I can. Does anybody have a idea what is going on, and a fix if possible. Thanks Bruce.

Is the spool direct acting or cable activated?

Remove the cans and inspect the springs and little balls.

You may have some loose parts in the cans on the bottom, or some debris in the spool jamming it.

Check those QD. Unplug and reset.

direct, with Power be-on by pass. I thought it was the linkage but it defiantly internal.

Try removing the "cup" on the rear of the valve, it houses the detent balls for the float function, its probably corroded in there so you'll need to clean it up and pack with a light grease. Be careful not to loose the balls when opening it!
