So I am researching to buy my tractor and I came across some puzzling information regarding FEL. This is on the brochure for NH.

I expect to see 2 capacity figures, one for at the pivot pin and one at the bucket (or thereabouts). What is puzzling me is that for a couple of the NH options the lift capacity is listed as greater 500mm forward. That's backward from everything else I have seen, including other NH FEL. The only difference I see is that the 2 models are mechanically self-levelling. 616TL and 626TL.

So is this a mistake, or is there something about MSL that changes things?

Mechanical self leveling feeds gravitational energy from the uncurling bucket back through the linkage and thus aids the arm lift to some extent.

Maybe you’re mixing up breakout force with lift capacity? Or maybe you’re mixing up a 500 mm high lift vs a full height lift?

I cannot find the specs that I found this morning...almost as if NH read my post and changed the brochure online...the 616 and 626 are not even showing now.
