Loader Question

Whats a good loader to put on a YM1700 or can it even be done safely?

Search Member "Deep in Dirt" in the Yanmar forum. He's has one on his YM1700.The only one I know of at that. He may reply just don't hear from him that often anymore.

ok thanks.. Im not looking to major work with this tractor basically it will have an easy job on my 1 1/2 acres. lol A bucket would help out tremendously..

Don't have one on my YM2000. I've used a 55Hp JD. with a FEL for almost 10yrs. and know it's capability's all to well. That's why it most likely never will have one on it. I do use a rear dirt scoop though. It works amazingly well. Most likely would for you also esp. in the sandy soil of Fla. and only 1 1/2 acres.

cold water tractors probably has 1 for your tractor.. If they do,, it will be less expensive than the others..

I don't recall him ever getting a Loader come to think about it. Last we heard from him he dead headed the pump from the Hyd. front plow he has on the 186. ?

That was my point he apparently never bought it and the only thing he had was a Hyd. plow on the front. Even after all the posts and replies going through it and finally getting the pump to even work again he never said or mentioned anything about having a FEL. or trying to get one for that matter? Coldwater must not have one I guess. Something happened and no one else has one on a YM1700 that I know of. Besides Deep In Dirt. I would gladly tell cortisimo81 if I knew they did.
And edit this after even thinking harder about it. The last time without a doubt someone had a FEL. on a YM1700 that I recall was on ATL. CL. a few months back and he was selling the FEL. It was a nice Bush Hog Brand and it cought my eye and with the 2G's used he wanted for it :laughing: . The owner even said he was tired of having it on the front of his YM1700 since he was finished with everything he could possibly use it for and was to much to deal with up front. It was already off the Tractor. Yes!!

Looks like Hoye is going to have some heavy duty front ends for the 2000, guessing they will fit the 1700 too. 2wd spindles bending - Yanmar Tractor Support Message Board

carey, I don't even know if cold water makes a loader for a 1700.. That's why I advised him to get the # from the other guy & call.. I know when I called about a loader right after buying my 3110, he said they only made the loaders for the smaller tractors not the large ones like my 3110.. Don't know it he makes them for a 3110 now or not.. That was what 8 yrs ago ?
