If Wayne relied on this board for his living he would be broke! I know Wayne and I and quite a few other dealers are here because we enjoy tractors and talking tractors and that’s it. A one week $5.00 add in my local paper will generate more sales than I will make from this forum in ten years.
As for VN rebuilds I can’t speak for Wayne but I am sick of them and all the crap that goes with them. I spent half my day today with people who bought VN paint jobs and their rebuilt wonders are broke down. All in the first 10 hours. The rest of my day I spent talking with customers who's first question out of their mouths were as always "are your tractors reconditioned". Like always my reply is "nope, I suck at painting junk". I know it’s hard to believe but I can sell rebuilds like the next guy but I also have to support that customer for as long as I’m in business. I have learned my lesson and supporting a turd is punishment for stealing in some countries. Supporting someone else’s is even worse. Sorry you feel attacked on the VN issue but you don’t have to deal with it day in and day out like Wayne does.
