Loader mounting holes

Are these holes threaded? Broke both of the bolts that go in them that mount the loader. I can see the bolts in there but dont know if they are threaded in or have nuts on the backside under the gas tank.

Yes holes are threaded. Is enough of old bolt exposed so you can weld a washer to bolt then weld a nut to washer so broken bolt can be removed?

No they're not. They're broke off about an inch back in the holes

Shows the cap screws are 1-5/8" long.. how much came out that was broken off?

I'll check my 2030 and see if these are through holes or blind holes. My loader does not use these holes, front guard does.


Front emblem looks older than what is used (black and chrome) on 1975 models, but if German built, I could be wrong.

A 3/4" bolt is large enough to easily drill for "easy out"

I checked my 2030. The holes are through holes, not blind holes. About 1 1/4" total depth. First 1/4" is oversized (no threads), then 1" of threads.


A caution; if you plan to use heat, the fuel tank is above and slightly back from these holes
