loader curl

My DK55 tractor/loader is stopping short of full "curl back" on the loader with a large round bale of hay (about 1200-1300lbs). The loader will lift it up with ease, just won't roll all the way back. with a small load it is fine, fluid level is fine, Any ideas where to start?

Do you think you have reached the limit of what it will curl back?

Or is this something that just started, where some time before it would curl with ease?

My loader will keep lifting something on the pallet forks but not rollback due to leverage of load out front, the higher I lift it the easier it is to curl. Just need to be super carefull you don't curl it onto yourself if lifted high.

If you are in the full curl position, th relief valve should be relieving. If your pump is not providing the force as in pressure, you may be at your limit. Your pump could be weak, not building the pressure as when new. Valve could be bypassing. When my pump was on it's way out, it would only lift about half the rated load.

If your valve is not relieving, then you are not using full pressure.

Check out the pressure with a hyd pressure gage.
