LN-7 feeder Keeps Jamming

Yeah she's a keeper, only thing it's lacking is AC!:laughing: I'm debating on buying an LN-7 or not to go with it! My LN-25 does everything I want it to. Sooner or later an LN-7, 8, or 9 will come a long for a good price, and I'll snatch it up!

i got a 2 cv-300 and 2 ln7 with 3 spools of .045 wire for 700 bucks..LOL

WOW, that's the deal of the century!:thumbsup: I like Tweco guns, you'd want a model 4. I've heard good things about Bernard Mig guns.

well after another hour no matter what i did i cant get it to work.The wire feeds no problem through the liner but when i go to weld within 5 sec it is jamed...Looks like a new gun and/or liner... After measure it is 15 feet..which looks like the standard.. Is there a sopecial liner to use with .045 fluxcore wire?

You say i should get a Tweco Model 4? I gotta do something..need this working as i sold my old stick welder..**** i should have kept that..LOL

Well I like Tweco, been using them since the 1970s. Weldors on the welding forums really brag on the Bernard Q-guns, I've never used one. You may get away with a 200-amp gun, but you might want to think about a 400-amp gun, the Tweco model 4 is a 400-amp gun. Don't know about the Bernard guns but with the Tweco gun you'll need an adapter to fit your LN-7. Heres what my adapter looks like.

Hmm..i am sure that is a nice gun but is there anything wrong with this direct replacement? Also i cant tell but do they include new liners with these kits?

That looks like a no name knock off of a lincoln. Might not last too long.

Man that's a screaming deal! Wonder how hard it is to find contact tips, insulators, and nozzles for it? I'm sure it comes with a liner already in it.

Not sure I'd buy a gun that cheap, sure makes you wonder about the quality, but then again look at the Everlast PowerArc 200, best arc for the buck!

What made me worry about the quality was the fact that on the specs the manufacture was listed as N/A... I dont normaly see high quality products with no name what so ever... Even the HF stuff has a name....

also i didnt even notice that it was N/A on a Manufacturer till you brought that up..

well i guess there is no cheap fix here..Gonna call the local shop tommorrow to see what they have and if not i will probably order the Tweco with the ln7 adaptor..:thumbsup:
