Hey Guys,

I have a Lk3054 TLB.

Today I was moving some fill around and I hit a buried rock with the front blade.

The tractor stopped cold. The engine is running, all the hydraulics and PTO are working, she just don't move.

While the engine is running, I can move the forward/reverse lever and the high/low lever with the clutch out and nothing happening. No grinding or explosions...... nothing.

Can anyone offer any suggestions on what I did and how to fix it?

Like Joel said what happens when you shift gears with the clutch out with f/r &range in gear? if you don't get any grinding I would suspect clutch plate is severed or a broken main shaft

opps.... It must have slipped out of gear when I stopped so suddenly.

Thanks for fixing my tractor!

Just out of curiosity, how big of a box blade could I use on my tractor?

Pretty much as big as you can lift. I would have no problem using a
1000# 6-footer w/ retractable rippers. Just do not use a BB that is too
light-duty for the weight of your tractor, or you will tear it up. That would
include some of the light duty units that weigh less than 400#.

LOL, I wish all problems were so simple to solve.

I'm guessing that maybe you came out of your seat and hit the shifter with your leg?

I like my LK, I've got a woods box blade with rippers (purchased from Wallace tractor) and it does a great job. I'm drawing a blank on size, I think it's a 60 series which would be 5 foot I believe.

Exactly that would happen with my first tractor, a gear Kubota. First time
I did it, I thought the tractor was broken! The range shift was very close
to the seat.

The Kubota guys will still count this post as evidence that there are more maintenance issues on Kiotis.:D

I've been pitched forward out of my seat just enough to shut the tractor off with my knee hitting the ignition key. You go from cruising along to silence in no time flat.
