Hello TBN. I have been a lurker for a long time. I used to spend most of my time on Yesterday's Tractor forum, as most of my equipment is, well Yesterday.

BUT, since I have moved into current times, I will be contributing more often on TBN.

I'm going to try and make this a "Living Document." I will update this thread as I use our (Wife and I) P7010C in different applications. We have 50 acres of land in various states of condition from yard to untamed. There are year round opportunities to use our new tool to mow, hay, move dirt, maintain roads, set culverts, build a bridge, disc new ground, spray, ect... I also hunt on part of it so food plots will be coming soon.

These are the first pictures of the P7010C in action.

Some tall, overgrown vegetation.

Made 10 hours

Night mowing, rear lighting

Checking the game cameras

15 hours gone...

More Johnson Grass...

Just a little tractor **** update. I'm at almost 18 hours now. I'll continue to provide pics... Otherwise as we know, "It did not happen!"

Have you tried the 750 or "economy" PTO setting? Is it limited electronically or is it possible to turn the PTO faster than 540? Not that you would want to, just wondering if you guess at the correct RPM or what?

If I was able to get rid of my beast of a tractor and get a new one today, the P7010C would be on the short list. Looking forward to your pics and vids. Is the cab nice and quiet?

Hill Farmer. Yes, I have used the 750 (economy) PTO. The PTO is all gear. Ranges as follows; 540, ground drive, 1000 (comes with separate bolt in stub shaft), 750. I think 540 and 750 are at opposite ends of shift pattern to prevent accidents.

I have not found any electronically limited actions as of yet, transmission related. It's a nice tractor. But KIA nice. Comfortably equipped, functional, **** good price point, leading warranty.

It's still simple in operation. Gear shuttle, gear range, gear transmission. Clutch for everything except PTO engagement, its electrohydraulic. One could place it in 750 or 1000 and run at 3k RPM... Bad idea!

I have been mowing with a 6' Rhino 172 in 750 at 15-17k RPM. I'm guessing that is 540 or better (maybe 570). Rated 540 is @ 1950 RPM. I figure 540-600 will not kill a Rhino.

It definitely is cutting smoother! I did some WAG calculations, 1600 RPM in 750 seems to be a good match and the engine doesn't lug. At this setting I have been running M1-M3 speed (4-7mph). Maybe 1.5-2 gph. Not bad for a 72hp engine.

The cab is almost too quiet. Its quieter than the XU5065 I tested. Run over a small tree, you feel more than you hear. I can talk on the phone at PTO engine speed. The AC will freeze the balls off a brass monkey! Have not tried the heater yet (Louisiana).

Daddy likes!

Hill Farmer. The Belarus 825 is a beast! Its almost 15 HP more than the P7010C! Is yours cab? AC cab? I've heard Belarus are simple, but tough as the Kremlin! You would not mind trading it in on an LS. Before this I had a Farmall 504 (1962) and an Allis Chalmers 180 (1968). I still have both. Both need major, wrenching... Seperate antifreeze diets! They will be preserved. Some day.

Yes, it's a cab. Air works, sometimes. Loud, I wear ear plugs. It's heavy, simple, and will move about anything you want to push or pull with it. It's cheap horsepower, and does what I need to do. But, cutting brush with it all day is chore rather than enjoyable. It just wears me out. You can't beat it for putting in posts though, down pressure on the 3 point hitch is handy. Surprised no on else offers it.
But yes, I'll trade it or sell it when I can afford something else.

The AC will freeze the balls off a brass monkey! Have not tried the heater yet (Louisiana).

That's great to hear. Did you have it during the heat of August? Anything special to maintain or clean with the AC?

If you don't mind, how much did you pay for it?

Thanks,
Eddie
