Any of you guys use liquid nitrogen to spray your grass acreage? I've been using granular, and on the surface it looks like the liquid would be far more cost effective, IF it works.

Would appreciate any recommendations of brands and receipe's you use to spray your own acreage.

I've got 10 acres of common bermuda that I mow (not graze, or bale) and looking for something to keep it looking nice.

Thanx!

I think you would have to apply liquid a few times. With granular you can get a coated time release formulation.

Nitrogen is indeed less expensive in liquid but will only be realized if mixed with irrigation water or incorporated with soil during application. You can actually burn grass by putting high % N on foliage. Since you don't need to produce tonnage,I would concentrate on mowing and/or weed control.
