Buying Advice Lingering Questions

I have been looking into and collecting information on used Yanmanr tractors for about a year now. I have zeroed in on 3 different models YM2420D, YM2002D and a YMG2000D that I think will work for me.

What I am concerned about is since these were only made for 2 years (1982-1983 from what I can tell) is parts availability. So if after purchasing I need bearings, seals, injector pump, radiator, new tires, etc how difficult are these to get?

I have seen lots of posts here that involve parts and such but I have not seen anything about how long it takes. I just don't want to have an axle snap or injector pump fo out and not be able to get parts for 6 months.

Just happens I own a ym2002d that has experienced complete overhaul including crankshaft. Also have replaced knuckle seals along with a few other items. What I am saying is parts have been available for all that. Assuming the one you are looking at has power steering. I have sort of lived in fear of something going wrong with that because I have seen no parts availability for the power steering. I love it though, especially with the loader usage.

I put a clutch in a 2420D recently and parts were no problem from Hoye.

You shouldn't have any issues, I don't think any series ran longer then 2 years, some maybe went 3, my ym2001 was only produced in 1981, no issues yet getting what I needed.
