Jinma 204 -- now gone
Hi All,

Ok, through the resources on this board, I have been able to research PTO and its variances.

Now when you look at tractors, I see Cat 0, Cat 1, etc.

Can anyone explain a limited Cat 1 ? Is if between a Cat 0 and a Cat 1 ?

Basically, what is a " limited Cat 1"

Thanks for any input.

Hi,

Thanks for the push in the right direction.

So basically, as I understand it, a limited Cat 1 is basically a matter of the arms not going out as far as a Cat 1 and you are limited in lift height because of the tractor size itself.

Does this mean that all sub compacts are Limited Cat 1 ?

And all compacts are full cat 1's ?

Thanks a bunch. Has been really helpful.

Yes and no. Each manufacture has their own spec's. You will have to look at size when you are out shopping.

Hi Ron,

Thanks for the help.

Nothing is easy is it.

However I do now have a bit better understanding and know a little better what to look for.

Thanks again and have a good one.
