I was thinking of mounting lights on the top of my snow blower because with the light on top of my cab all I really see is really well lit snow dust blown out of the chute. I was thinking that with the lights on blower they would be past and below this snow and I would be better able to see. Has any done this?? I know that I would have to run a ground to the blower is there any other problems?
thanks
Jerome

If there is a lot of vibration, the bulb filiment won't probably last long. Try a rubber cased tractor lamp or some kind of rubber mount.

From my experience with front mounts, 48" & 63", the blowby is worse at the machine than back at the cab. Between the vibration or the light becoming encased in ice i dont think you will gain anything, in fact the reflection off snow out there could work against you like highbeams driving a car in a blizzaer. JMHO.

I have done this and it works great as I perfer to move snow early before daylight. Used a heavy duty light w/o any vibration issues. Enables me to do a better job of cleaning up the drive. I also have lights mounted above the B2410 rollbar-makes a great combination.
