Good Day: One unexpected side benefit of my Case DX24E has been the ease of mounting lights to the ROPS. It has four 3/8" holes factory drilled front to back on the top of the ROPS. I just took perforated angle iron, bolted it to the top, added a light to a switched wire to the under seat aux. plug /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Like most of you I needed more light but did not want to drill or weld to the ROPS /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif The factory did if for me /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

How many lights did you install?
Can you pivot them up and down?
Can you rotate them 360 degrees.
Can you illuminate all the way around the tractor with them?

I just put one on the bracket, thought I would see if that was enough. So far it is. I bought a cheapie trapozidal pattern light from Auto Zone($10). The pattern is Ok but I think I'll try a flood next.
I can adjust the light up and down, side to side, backward, it's on a ball mount bolted thru the perforated angle. Has to be shifted by hand each time but 95% of the time it's looking ahead. There is enough amps left (w/v=a) in the aux. plug (10a.) to run another light so I might try that.
The whole setup cost about $25 by the time I was done. Switched plug wire from Radio Shack, light from Auto Zone, perforated angle and bolts from Home Depot.
I suspect the ROPS holes are for mounting a canopeas /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif on top but it does what I want for now.
