My Bendpak has air locks, I need to raise the lift a little to take the load off the locks before I can unlock and lower the lift. The air locks need 30 psi or they will not release. I'm sure the manual lock release also need to be unloaded before they will release.my lift raised up but wont go down

You could certainly could drive a semi through it. Op needs to elaborate a bit more so we can be more helpful.
By the way, how do you like your MX-4700? not a whole bunch of it around in comparison to 5100.

The OP is MIA for now. Hope he chimes in with a bit more info so we all can help him.Hi JC-jetro. I feel like the MX series is a good all-arounder, big enough to do some decent work and yet small enough to be fairly maneuverable and fit into smaller spaces. There are other machines I would like to have but this suits my needs quite well.
I went with the non turbo for simplicity sake. I do not need the extra horse power and felt that the extra cost and complexity would be wasted in my situation. I also like the fact that everything is mechanical on this machine and it is fairly simple to work on.
Don't mean to hijack this thread but how do you like yours??
How much weight is on the tongue? If it is close to balanced, there moght not be enough weight to drop it. When my old Iseki built MF1250 didn't have anything on the 3PH I had to push the arms down to get them to lower.mine is a iseki tx1000. i used the lift to raise a trailer tongue it stopped at the upmost position and wont come down. any suggestions woul be greatly appreciated.

I love my MX foor all the reasons you said, and having naturally aspirated was one thing that I wanted. Yup, electrical /mechanical all very simple and CATII 3 point lift is great, just wished it had the deluxe extendable lift arms. I am sure it will outlast me.
