Lift Adjustment..?

Jinma 304 4x4 (FarmPro)
Lift not acting/working right
Will not pick up implement until nearly top position
Lowers quick
Has the old style 2- handle lift
Worked good/better until l changed fluid & filter
Is there a adjustment..?

Sounds like it may have a little air in the system since you recently changed fluid. Try exercising all the hydraulics several times to get the air out.

not a clue about your tractor....

ditto george statement first. unhook what ever is on 3pt hitch, and then full extend and full contract the 3pt hitch ( lift it fully up and let it fully down) serveral times, and air will get worked out of the system. double check your hyd oil afterwards to make sure it is not low.

double check transmission oil level, perhaps 3pt runs from transmission oil. vs standard hyd oil.

most threads that i have seen on TBN that state exactly what you are describing, but without the filter / oil change. is they hit a "knob" and/or lever, most of the time directly between your legs under the seat. or perhaps left or right side of the seat. position control / draft control / lift control something of the sorts.

I did cycle lift a few times & that did help a little

I have only 3 attachments, a lift (Light), a scrape (Light) & a 4' rotary cutter
I hooked the cutter up & was doing fine, backed up a bank & the top link rotated too much & hitch point on cutter hung up
The hitch pin wedged tight, Eyes were bent on top link also, & I had to unhook everything to get cutter off
The hydraulic fill/breathe valve lost some oil out, maybe 1/2 quart
I couldn't straighten the top link eyes, so I put a new top link on
All is working good now, still some distance on lever until lift engages (Pick-Up)
