lifan 13 hp motor mount bolt size

I am going nuts building a log splitter. I can't find what size and pitch bolts mount the pump to the motor. I have looked all over including the manual but no luck. It's a 13 hp lifan engine that is said to be a Honda clone. The owners manual is a joke to say the least.

M8 or M10 std metric would be the logical choice to try.

For things like this, a good selection of well labled test bolts is helpful.

Also, 8mm and 5/16 are close enough to be mistaken for each other.

I had a bunch of bolts to try and I was at my wits end. I took it to a real hardware store not the big box ones and found out it was a 10 mm 1,25. Big box stores had 10 mm 1.5. I got it all together but I still need to get all the hoses.
