corn is a traded commodity therefore the price is in the hands of speculators.
if i were trying to sell oil for a high price it would be in my best interest to see that the price of corn was high.

So is crude oil. And refined fuel.

This thread has no where to go but down. There has already been some unfriendliness and given that its an extremely complicated issue involving the global economy and innumerable factors, no one on the planet has all the facts.
