When I started designing a playhouse for my daughter, I couldn't find many design ideas, so I came up with my own. It didn't end up exactly like I planned, but I used a lot of materials that my dad had lying around as well as some damaged materials from Lowes. It's 8x8 interior with a 4x8 deck. The interior has a small loft and the structure is almost 8' off of the ground. There is a rock wall on one side of the porch as well as a rope/pulley system to raise and lower a bucket. I still have some work to do, but its getting close to complete, so I was wondering if anyone else had playhouse photos to share. Let's see 'em!
I have been thinking about building something similar for my kids. I was going to use the elevator brackets like are mentioned on this thread -
