Let's post our Made in USA tool finds (yard sales, old store stock, auctions ...

It's sort of a tool, old cast iron base to a Singer treadle sewing machine. The machine portion was missing, so I repurposed it with a red cedar top.

I bought an old Toolbox at an auction, it looked pretty scummy but I could tell it would cleanup. I got it for $50. My BIL said what did you buy that for and I said I'm going to clean it up and put it in my man cave someday. It had a drawer that would not open.

I got it home and did some research on it and found that it was an older American made, pretty heavy made toolbox. I got the drawer open and it had a really nice american made gearpuller/slide hammer set and some other tools probably all total around $100 in just the tools.

It did clean up very well and bottom half is in my garage and top half is in my barn.. I was pretty happy with that buy.

Picked up a nice second hand Dake 50 Ton press today, straight outta 1969. It's in great shape.

It's got a Whitney Tool Co. No. 50 Angle Iron Notcher attached to it as well.
