Re: Let it snow. It works
It was worth the money and labor to put a Curtis 61/2' loader mounted snow blade on my 2910. Got home from work about 8:00 pm Monday evening. Couldn't wait to get out to the barn and fire up tractor. Barn door wouldn't open. A 3' snowdrift was against the whole side of barn. Got a shovel out and dug a trench to allow door to slide open. With the door open and the tractor setting just inside the door looking at a 3' foot drift it looked like an awesome job. Not to worry. When the engine was warmed up. Just lifted the blade about 1 inch off ground to keep weight on front tires. Pushed down on the forward HST pedal and pure joy! Only took about ½ hour to complete about 400 feet of drive and sidewalk. Whenever I encountered a high drift only had to raise the blade enough to push the top off. I now have piles of snow over 5' high. Should not be a problem when we get more snow. The Blade will push snow back with no problem. Hope to get some pictures before the weekend.
