Some of you may have read my post of buying a b1700.I had bought it from a new holland dealer in missouri.Well i got it a couple weeks ago, blowing thick black smoke upon start up,even if the tractor had been running for a half hour. And there was smoke coming from the blow by tube.I called the salesman as soon as it got off the truck,he says there nothing wrong and i was pretty much screwed. So i called the owner told him the story and that i was taking to the kubota dealer.I took it to the dealer it was only getting half the compression that it should be.After haggling with the owner they gave me my money back but i had to pay for shipping.Between the shipping and the dealer looking at it i lost $600 bucks.I think i still got screwed and worst yet that dealer put the tractor right back on tactor house.Luckily i found a massey 1220 around here that was affordable.

I know it would have been $1500 min and 2500 max.Still i first offered a soon as i got to ship it back and i would pay for half the shipping.I guess tractor dealers are no better than car dealers. There should be lemon laws on tractors.
