Lenar tractors!

Jimmy, I never questioned Ford or Isuzu's stock investment just the claims that the tractors are being assembled under quality control from Ford and Isuzu. I think what your doing with Lenar by building dealerships and a parts warehouse and all the nightmares that goes with that is doing more than any US companies quality control will ever do (by the way more power to you It is a huge job that you have taken on). Ford and Isuzu have earned the right to their name and using that name to market quality in a product is wrong if it’s not true. It would be easy for Brent to say his tractors are refurbished using NASA quality control. It wouldn’t be a total lie but it isn’t really honest either. I could say all my Kama's are redesigned using Dept of Energy quality control procedures because I worked for them. I guarantee that isn’t true!! If I did that they would cost a million bucks a piece, hehe. Lenars are good tractors because you will make sure they are and so will all the other good dealers.

103,000 sq feet, makes it one of their smallest plants they have. Only some of their speciality plants are around that size. Most are a million sq feet. 100K seems small to do trucks, tractors, and diesel engines. Maybe just a typo?

ISO is nothing more than a paper trail and does nothing to actually improve the quality of the product. If your company is concerned about turning out a quality product it would do so with or without ISO certification. The same could be said about a company that cares little about the quality of its product, ISO isn't going to change that. In the end they both get the same bang for their buck when they advertise that they are ISO Certified.

It's kinda like tractor advertising, asssociate yourself with a company known for its quality and let people assume that association=quality just like people assume ISO=quality, its all smoke and mirrors.

On a different note what ever happened to the Terra Cyclone with its claims of a nation wide roll out and 5000 units a year projected sales?

Hehehehhe.......wouldn't that be nice. The only friendly persons I've seen has been the door greeters. The funny thing with walmart is that they've pushed USA products on their TV ads. But a quick observation will tell you that the MAJORITY of their stuff is from good 'ole China.

While they haven't used that slogan in years, think about how much milage they got out of that! They made a big deal out of it for a year or two. I remember comments like "we order from US factories during their "off" period to get a better deal and provide year round employment." They quickly and quietly went back to "business as usual". Marketing at its best!

My wife tells me, JC Penny will tell you where an item is made, as you are placing a phone order. After they tell you, they ask for a positive response to order the item. As far as I know, they are the only major retailer to go to that level.

hello, i'm fairly new to this forum, i'm amazed at everybody's hostile treatment towards one another. i bought a Lenar from Hicks Sales in Mo. very broad minded tractor people. I love mine & have owned a Jm254, which i liked as well. but the fact is i think i traded a good tractor in for one that is a little better. i've had less problems in the first 4 month's with the lenar than i did the jinma. the only thing that Lenar needs is wider tires & be able to make rear tire width further apart, but for $9,500.00 w/ Koyker loader where can a man go wrong. Some Lenar issues As you dig through the posts there does seem to be issues you could place on all three. Hopefully everything will be reconciled with a good working tractor, and it can turn into a Lenar success story.

Never ceases to amaze me when I see posts like this. I've been
a Jinma dealer for better than 5 years and one thing I've learned
is that the customer is smart enough to know what he needs.
When you start off telling a customer what he needs and
what to think you are telling him he's too dumb to make
those decisions on his own. Nobody likes to be called stupid,
nobody. I've walked away from $35K automobile deals because
salesmen wouldn't listen to me and tried to tell me what I wanted.
I know what I want, you're job is to supply it. I don't "sell" Jinma's,
I just make them available and answer questions.
The customer has to sell the tractor to himself. Thats why I have
no unhappy customers because they all make the decision for
themselves. It's really funny that green and orange
dealers are some of my best salesmen. Every couple of
months a guy will call and say he'd just been to a green or
orange dealer and they were the most arrogant condesending
bastards he's ever met and wouldn't buy a tractor from them if
they were the last place on earth. Then he asks me what I have
to offer. 9 times out of 10 he sells himself one of my Jinma's.
Thanks green, Thanks orange. Pleasure doing business with you.
So many people just simply don't understand that you
have to respect the customer..

Yep, that's the best way to sell. I have one brother who is the best salesman I know of; he's sold airplanes, cars and trucks, RVs, and Matco tools, did well at all of them and every place he's worked wants him back. But he never tries to sell anyone anything. He always did lots of reading and studying to try to know his products well, and he'll shoot the bull with anyone all day. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
