Started that process today too. Cleaned about 4 acres today, and even did my woods trails. Makes it easier to walk to my deer stand quietly. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Out in the country we normally wait for a real windy day and let mother nature take care of the leaves. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It looks like you use a cyclone rake or similar. Even using power equipment raking/vacuuming, bagging, hauling, dumping is something I am averse (work).

I prefer to leave them right where Mother Nature puts them. Insert mulching plug in the rider or leave bag off the rear bagger walk behind and mulch in place. One or two passes and the ground looks like it has been sprinkled with salt/pepper, anohter day and nothing shows. Haven't had to try that when they were wet yet tho.

How about some before, after first pass, and finished pics of what it looks like?
Maybe I was doing it wrong all along when I was mulching.

Sorry, don't have a digital. I am sitting hee now looking out at the back where I mulched about Sat (time sorta gets lost when you're retired). Nothing showing from the mulching, Scattered leaves that have fallen since - not enough to bother with. Being in the country I don't worry about minor stuff.

I suspect there is a pretty big difference in the amount of leaves that fall in SE Washington compared to 'out east'. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I want some of that stuff you spread on your lawn over by the bird bath that keeps the leaves from falling there. I'm gonna sell it and get rich! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

There is a big difference even here now that I got rid of the red maples that someone thought were a good idea to plant in a lawn. Have one left (wife's demand). The first year I mulched, the leaves were almost a foot deep in spots.
