For the third year in a row we've had bunches of fence lizards in and around our tomato patch and deck..but this year we have had two generations born since January. Seems like 4 or 5 of them run away on any given day when we go past the garden.

They have been extremely beneficial..hardly any insect damage to any of our tomatoes and bell peppers. It's great seeing them flourish around here.

Yesterday i came across a new baby, no more than 2 inches long..the cherry tomato is about 5/8" across for a size reference.

Hi Alien,
Thanks for your concern. These guys aren't related to a gecko, but we do wash everything that comes out of the garden.

Can't imagine eating one, it's just too cute and besides, too many bones and scales for the meat you'd get
