I have a spot in my front yard that is sloped a bit.
Otherwise my yard is flat.

I have been reading over on the ytmag board,
and seeing some posts about tractors turning over.

I'm wondering how much tilt I can do.

Here is a picture I took today.
I edited myself out of the picture.
The tractor is a tad bit top heavy with me sitting on it.
Whatcha think. Safe to mow or not.
And will it hurt the engine to have the oil go to one side like that.

Not to worry, that's not enough to lay that old girl on her side. You have 2000+ lbs and whatever you have behind it. Just don't raise your chopper to high or make sudden turns up the incline, and she'll be solid.

Shouldn't hurt the engine, just keep in eye on the oil pressure, 5lbs at PTO rpm is all you need on that one.

I agree with ronnie; that doesn't appear to be enough tilt to worry about at all.

I've travelled slopes at least twice what that is with 8N's with no problem. You'll find that it will want to slide when it gets too steep, then you travell up and down the hill or diagonally on it. I had lots of hours on that one with a 5' brush hog and never a problem.
