JD Weld. The area to be sealed needs to be clean & dry. My old TE20's gas tank sprund a couple leaks at the seams and JD Weld has been holding for over 12 yrs. Probably more but I've since sold it :D

There are plenty of fuel tank liners.. por 15.. kreem.. etc.

JB weld will hold too, if metal is clean, and you allow time for it to cure.

Like was previously said there are a bunch of liner type systems to fix leaky tanks.

Personally I torch braze them. Just make sure the tank is completly full of water when you do it so the vapors do not blow up.

There is a company called GAs Tank Renu and they do a great job. Some of the auto restoration products will work well on a tank that isn't Swiss cheese already, but if you are plagued with multiple pinholes, then I would opt for the tank renu process. I assume that this is a working unit and downtime costs you money. If that is the case, then a more permanent repair should be done. We all have our priorities, and a lot of people around these parts rather spend a day to do a job that a professional will do in a few hours, so they will save money. I have no problem with that way of thinking, but I also like to see a job done right the first time. Based on my past experiences, you need this to be professionally repaired. If it were just a few pin holes, then you could repair them yourself. Just remember, there are the pinholes you can now see, but once the tank is throughly cleaned, there might just be double or triple that amount.

Radiator shops fix holes in gas tanks all the time.

However, if there are a bunch of pinholes, there may not be much metal between the pinholes to work with. In that case you may need something that will add strength, some sort of line. I'll bet the radiator shop can help you on that, too.
