Leaky bucket cylinder

Hey everyone, just wondering if anybody had hydraulic fluid leaking from there bucket curl cylinders before. I got done snow removal today and noticed on my CK35 that it was leaking. It's not a bad leak yet, but enough to drip on the loader arms. How big of a job is this to do? What is the cost to repack the cylinder?

I blew a cylinder out on my B7800 (popping tire beads from rims- ain't going to do that again!). No slight leaking for me, it was a gusher! :laughing:

When I finally got around to having that cylinder rebuilt it was about $200. I'd bought a new one (time was important) for, I believe, about $700. Thought I'd damaged another one only to find out that I'd spun one of the hose fitting loose (rubbing up against a huge stump- fell in a hole )

Thanks for the reply. After looking over it numerous times, I decided to put a wrench on the fittings coming out the cylinder. The lower fitting I was able to turn about 1/4 turn or so. I cleaned everything up and so far there is no more leaking. Keeping my fingers crossed that's all it was.

Just for others -
I had a similar problem. Here.
OP - look around for a good repair facility and get some plugs/caps.

I spent about $10 on caps, $40 for the rebuild in Fulton, Mississippi.

And maybe because I was a stickler on lubing everything came out and went in easily.

just put seal kit in one on my 1710 with a Koyker 150 loader, did homework prior and some cylinder"s are a little harder than other"s, I bought special tool off ebay for $20. ended up mine did not need it, my cylinder was super easy other than stretching new seal"s on.
