hello,
I have a nimco control on backhoe I have a leak dripping from the CONTROL, SPOOL 11 ASSY at bottom of cup.
there is a small hole there where the fluid is coming out. it leaks even after I disconnect the hoses.
is there an oring somewhere that I need to replace?
thanks,

Sorry to say I can't help you, but if you post this over in the hydraulic forum instead I'm sure someone there will be able to help you out.

My KB2375 also has the Nimco valve assembly and have had it apart early under warranty. Dealer supplied parts. At the top and bottom of the valve block, where the spool goes through, there is a black rubber o-ring with a white nylon backup washer. This seals the spool for hyd pressure. The cup itself, that is attached to each of the valve blocks, does not have an o-ring and is not what holds back the hyd pressure. The bottom end of the spool has a spring attached to it and the spring works in the cup to return the spool to the neutral position. Usually the top o-ring goes because the top of the spool that sticks out of the valve block gets some rust on it and tears up the o-ring. Rust usually doesn't get on the bottom of the spool because it's in the cup and reasonably protected but I do remember another member posting he had to change a lower o-ring.

okay thanks for your help, I was a little afraid to take that cup off and look, but I will just have to do and be careful not to lose anything.
thanks a gain,

When you remove the two allen head screws that hold the cup on, nothing will nor should fall off. The spring I mentioned is connected to the spool. With all the hyd lines attached to the valves and the valve assembly attached to the bh frame, it's pretty hard to get much access to the bottom of the valves. If it was me, I would take the hoses off and remove the whole assembly as a unit. Makes it much easier to work on and the easiest way to replace the o-rings is to remove the spool from the valve. You probably could get the o-ring and washer out with a small pick though. Once you see it, it's a pretty simple assembly and not hard to work on. The assembly as installed on the bh just makes it hard to work on.

I had a stabilyzer valve, one of the two center valves, go bad and had to split the assembly. Not a bad job. Just make sure to keep everything clean from any dirt particles. you don't need dirt getting inside and sticking a check valve in the valve block.

Thanks again Victorw,
I will follow your advise and remove hoses and and assembly from bh.
I will also mark each hose so I hook back up the correct way. not sure if they are color coded or not.

thanks for the help, got it taken care of, I just unbolted the whole control assembly and left hoses hooked up
replace the two orings on spool and leak is fixed.

Man - I always like a story with a happy ending.

Glad you have it fixed. A pretty easy job but hard when bolted to the frame of the bh and not having much room to work. Now you're ready to tackle any fix on those valves but hope that is a long time coming.
