I'm sure this topic has already been adressed, but I'm to tired right now to search and read previous pots. I have a ck25 with the kl130 loader. It has about 1,100 hours of heavy use on it. I keep all the filters and fuilds changed on regular intervials. Tonight I was york raking my driveway and i noticed that even with nothing in the bucket, it kept curling foward on its own. I have notice this when lifting stuff with my forks, and if I don't keep curling back the forks will roll foward almost right away. What do I need to check or replace to fix this problem? I know that some of this is normal to a degree, but this is far more sloppy then when I first got the tractor.

That's fast even with the tractor running. I bet the cylinder/piston seals are leaking. There's a few threads showing other members changing theirs.

Yup, bet it is cylinder seals leaking. Several folks here have had the same issue, myself included. The dipper arm in my BH was much weaker last summer than when I first got it. When I pulled the BH off for the winter, I had the dipper raised up, I turn and looked and it was falling at the rate of about 4" per minute!!! Pulled the cylinder and checked the seals.. yup, one of the seals was 'blown'. Here is my thread with pictures, others have done a much better writeups if you do a bit of searching.

My bucket falls slowly as well, 6" per hour, when I get my garage finished I will be pulling them apart as well, in the mean time.. the bucket is always left on the ground and I deal with limited lift. I was told that Kioti charges about $220 for a cylinder rebuild kit, I never bothered to get a quote though. With the help of folks here, I found seals on line for $12-$15 each. From others who have used them.. they seem to hold up better than the originals.

it could be a bad valve, theres a guy that had the same problem on his kioti backhoe here recently. dealer thought it was a cylinder problem and replaced it with a new one, that did'nt help. turned out to be in the valve body.

Before you set into the expensive stuff, you want to make sure that the problem isn't just a control cable adjustment. If the cable controller from the joystick to the valve is out of adjustment, the spool may not close all the way when the joystick is in the neutral position. Before you tear anything apart, with the tractor NOT running, see if you can stop the leak down by moving the joystick lever slightly to the curl position. If you can get the bucket to stop, you may just need to adjust the control cable.

Try that first, could save you some time and $$.
