Lead time on new tractors

Hi all,
New members first post.
Wondering what kind of lead time youæ±*e seeing on new tractors? I purchased a Kioti CK3510SE in November and figured 2 or 3 months, but should have figured longer when the dealer could not even give me an ETA. Well just got a call yesterday from the Dealer with an ETA of end of March or April.

Kubota is about the same.

Covid is in Japan. Covid is in Korea. International shipping is erratic.

A run of a particular tractor model cannot move down the assembly line until all the parts are in the assembly plant.

As you know C19 thrown stick in spokes of life

BIG tractor companies are feeling the pinch from all 4 sides even to keeps common parts on the shelves,and special orders whew indeed wait time.
Not sure of your location but if you need rear tires chains you may want to ask if wheel spacers are needed for example.

My Deere dealer told me that they are not even allowed to place orders for any new 3 or 4 series tractors right now. The factory is just trying to catch up with what they've already got. Looking at several months if you've already got an order in.

When I first was looking at sub compacts at Kuboa last month the sales guy said ETA would be Spring. Of course I was ordering something not very standard which did not help. Good thing I went to my MF dealer and salesman was able to find what I wanted "in route" from the factory to another dealer. He picked it up the next day but Christmas held me up for a couple more days. So for me 6 days total including a 4 day Christmas holiday. Really did not want to wait 3-4 months.

Lead time is a problem across the board.

I'm looking at 8 to 9 weeks on some materials on a bathroom remodel.

Last summer when I bought my Deere X584, I was lucky that my dealer was able to do a dealer trade and get me one. It would have been months on an order.

I know tractor dealerships in this area have been low on inventory most of last year, but I drove past a local Kubota dealer today and they had about 25 tractors of various models on their lot. It's the most I've seen there since early last year.
