Laying water line across pasture

Still pulling up / snagging miles of that black poly pipe plowed in at my sisters farm. Doesn't cut when the plow catches it, just drags it back up.

I used 1 inch line, I know the flow is not the best but it is for temporary water to my trailer while i build my house. I bought a middle buster from TSC and on the second pass I broke the bolts that hold on the plow. I put some heavier bolts in and had no more problems. I did the whole job 1900 feet turnkey in about 2 hours. I used my box blade to fill in the trench, one pass is all it took...worked great

I did 100 feet of #6 copper tonight the same way, also worked well. The only problem was lots of roots where I ran the wire so I had to thread the wire under the roots...kind of a pain but not bad

Here is what we use - a sub soiler with 2 inch PVC attached.......

They make a really nice smooth bell type fitting for electrical conduit that would be better to funnel those lines into the PVC without the risk of scraping the insulation off.

Looks like fun.

Greetings from down under (Aust) I am not familiar with the term "Middle Buster". This is the pipe layer I use. It takes 2" Poly pipe. Is this the same thing as a "Middle Buster"?
Cheers

no electrarc thats similar to a subsoiler but with that pipe going down the backside that would work great for installing wire and water line
