Lawn \"Chains\"

The R4 tread on "Ox" serves well for most jobs but occassionally she needs to do work on turf or on septic fields where it would be great to spread the tire load. Short of buying new tires is there a a way to do this?

I guess maybe you need to be more explicite. Who is Ox, I am assuming your tractor? And with R4's you should be able to work on turf and drain fields. I do all the time with no problems. Tell us more about your tractor and weight etc etc. If your tractor is way to heavy in the first place then turfs will do you no better than the R4's.
