There are two old Ford tractors on my road, that have not ran in almost a year. One looks like a 9n. It has a faded “for sale” sign on it. Last spring, one of the original rear rims rusted out on my 51 8n. I called the guy about it, about a week after he pushed it out by the road. It had a new rim and decent tire on the side I needed. He was asking $ 1200, I offered $ 500. He passed and I ended up buying a new rim online (for about $50) and changed it out myself.
The other is a 1953 Jubulee that is owned by a friend who got sick of buying gas for it. All of his other tractors are diesel and he has a tank of that on the farm. When he got a flat front on his Ford 3000 while raking hay, he pulled one off the Jub and left it up on a block.
