I wanted to add these picks to show the importance of how far to tilt the adaptor plate forward. The oil tanks skin is 16 gauge or about .060 in thick. 1 ½ “ box tubing, all the rest was built of ¼” plate. Except the cutter bar it being a sharpened off ½ or 5/8” bar
Weld only around the edges or closes to all edges; Reframe from putting any tacks in the middle. They can cause grief buy busting loose. Let it float inside what little it will, Tie all the braces together.

This shows full tilt back. If the plate were not mounted with a foward tilt i don't believe the bucket would carry right.

( And O yes no burning and pig rosting in this bucket LOL. Good one Schultz. )

This looks terrific. I have spent so much time moving mulch that I can see this being incredibly useful. Great job! However, I think that roasting a boar would be a terrific use as well! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I was at a church where my daughter was married and they had a barbecue made out of a tank identical to the one I made the bucket out of. I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea at that LOL. Next time i'm over there i get some pics of it.

Nice job!!...I can see I need to learn to weld! Do you know what the weight of the bucket is and how many cubic feet?

The weight of the big red can is 224 pounnds. I have really tryed it out now and it is tough. I have loaded large cuts of wood in it and even dug dirt. I would even say that it is the most used attachment i have now and i have about 16 of them. Don't know how i would do without in?

Just sweep the scrap into the bucket like it was a giant dust pan. these are just some of the thing it's useful for. I will post more later.

Nice, bucket Stray.

I think I thought of another use for the other side of your oil barrel: Fenders. From the looks of it, these little beast could use them.

Is that you behind the left rear wheel. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif He does not look like a stray.

Heck, I have a swamp and can get my tractor that dirty in 5 minutes.

I do love that bucket. Somebody should make them and sell them.

This may have come before and I missed it - what is that you have mounted on top of the engine cover (light color)?
