I am a coffee person since my teen years, sometimes I drink tea but never think much of it.

One month ago I found Lapsang Souchong, tea with smoked flavor. It smells like a camp fire, every sip I take reminds me of camping in mountains, drying clothes over a fire - you got the picture.

If you are into tea, give it a try.

Where do you buy it? Heck, I ate smoked oysters and Sardines because of one of these threads... why not tea?? I thought Lapsang Souchong was some type of tractor :)

Lapsang Souchong is my all time favorite tea, :licking: although I haven't been able to find any for years. :( Perhaps a little internet shopping is in order.

They carry it in Wegmans as lose leaves weight-it-yourself tea. Wegmans - AFAIK - is a chain from NY or New England slowly creeping south.

You can buy a regular tea plant off ebay for 6 bucks. they are small and in a couple of years they will be giving you free tea. I have a coffee plant, tea plant (just got) and a stivia (spelling) plant. The kind that is used for sweetners. also have a mini lemon tree (meyers). summer time they are outside but now is when i start bringing them in.
