The heavier the better? Just trying to learn a bit about these. What else to look for in a box? Thanks!

What else to look for besides weight? If it's heavier, it probably also has a stronger A-frame to hook it up to the tractor. The angle of the blades is different on some brands; may or may not be a concern. Naturally, matching the width to your tractor and your purposes. The number and spacing of the scarifier teeth. The kind of tips on them (not usually a serious concern). And the most important other factor to me is how are the scarifiers held in place; i.e., what do you have to do to raise and/or lower them? Bolts, horizontal pins, vertical pins, round pins, square pins, held in place by hairpin clips, attached to the implement with little chains, etc.?
