Rake landscape rake

Leinbach has a nice little attachment called a Pine Straw Rake. It is used for gathering up the pine needles, pine cones and other stuff like that. The little tines on it gather nicely but are gentle on the ground.

The model is PSR and come in 60" and 72" sizes. Up here in No. Idaho they are nice and do very well.

You probably already know this, but the benefit of others who may not, keep in mind that you can change the aggressiveness of the rake by shortening or lenghtening the top link. Also, many landscape rakes will turn all the way around to just have the teeth "graze" over the top of the soil. This is a good way to rake leaves and such without so much aggrssive digging in. John

I played around with it more last night. Trying to get some more seat time! I figured out the top link deal. It was opposite of what the guy I bought it from told me but considering he hasn't used it in a year. That's OK. He said he only used it once to level his daughters property before seeding grass. I also noticed that if you swing it around and drive it backwards it's even more aggressive than pulling it. Won't do that to much though. Rough on the neck. Made a few passes through the woods though and found a barb wire fence nobody told us about. That should be interesting to clean up. Tetnus shot update time before I do that job! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Found the barb wire in the side lawn area too. The previous owner apparently either wanted to keep something in or out! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif To me, Finding the barb wire out with the rake just made it worth while to own it! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif Although the couple of "Told you's" I got from the misses were politely annoying!
