This will be a near future purchase as I just got a PHD for a fencing project and will be busy with that for the next number of weeks.

Curious about the size I should get.....I believe JD recommends a 48" and I see on here the 2305 owners seem to have either a 48 or 60" rake. The 60" rake seems to be the more popular size that stores are carrying.

Would appreciate any recommendations on brand and what price you paid as well.

Thanks!

Go with a 60" so it will cover your tracks when pulling it angled. They don't pull alot of material like a boxl blade so the bigger size will work. JC

Another vote for the 60" rake.

One more vote for 60". I have a 60" FarmForce SC with gauge wheels from TSC and it works great. One problem with this model is that it's made for CAT1 but has the pins narrower (20" verses the standard 26") No problem unless you want to use it with an Imatch or other quick hitch. I welded some brackets and a kick stand on to make mine hitch compatable.

The gauge wheels are well worth the money, really makes leveling an area fast and easy.
