Land Pride FDR 1660 finish mower with quick hitch

Anybody use a Land Pride FDR 1660 finish mower with quick hitch? Looking at the manual, apparently you can't float the front end if you use it with a quick hitch. Which pretty much negates the use of a finish mower. I might as well use my bush hog!

Their spec. sheet says it is quick hitch compatible.

The quick hitch arms are fixed just as the lift arms. I don't see where the quick hitch makes any difference

As with all Landpride (Great Plains) implements, it will have a sticker on it next to the attachment point stating quick hitch compatible.

i have a kubota l3301 with a speeco cat 1 quick hitch and a fdr 1660. I also have a couple of different adapters that go into variious implements. with the floating adapter it works fine. the adapter comes somethimes with the various quick hitches or you can buy seperately at Agri supply or tractor supply. I use quick hitch on everything but post hole digger.
