Hey guys,

Anyone care to explain the difference between the BB05 and BB12 series of Land Pride blades? Anything other than size? Also does anyone have any pricing info?? Thanks

I see that the 12 holds more, but does the unit itself weigh more too?

48" BB05 = 277 pounds = 69 pounds/foot ----13-5/16" moldboard height ----18-1/2" depth

48" BB12 = 316 pounds = 79 pounds/foot ----15-3/8" moldboard height -----23-1/8" depth

The 05, I believe, has lower attachment points for the hitch, to match low hitch height on subcompact tractors. The BX has such low arms, some Cat 1 implements, when sitting level on the ground, have used half your lift distance just to reach the pins. My back blade and rake are that way. The lower pins are 18in high when level. The blade/rake will raise less than 1 foot high when hitched and level.

My Woods subcompact box blade is 11 inches high at the pins, and is a very good match for the BX.

Thanks guys. Long story short is I unexpectedly ended up with the 1254 expecting the 0554. After I got it leveled it worked really well leveling some dirt. Trying to make sure I have what I need.

If your LOCATION was included in your T-B-N PROFILE your readers would have some idea of your soil and moisture of your soil.

I updated my profile a little, didn't even know it was there!
