I am building a landplane which is 96" wide with 60" runners. It will weigh about 700 lbs. My questions are should I make the blade angle adjustable and how should I set up the grader blades as far as depth?

I have seen both angled blade and straight blade drags, my intention is to use it for driveways some but primarily for ground planing and smoothing. I am not concerned with building a crowned roadway either.

Should the grader blades be slightly below the side runners or even with them?

waterguy,
I have a heavy duty 7' boxblade (Frontier 1284) which weighs about 1200 lbs to do the heavy cutting. I am hoping to use the landplane for finish work and touchups. How much weight did you try first?
