We just recently purchased a Max 26XL Shuttle. We are looking at getting a land grader to help out with our 1/2 mile driveway. I am assuming that a 60" will be what we are wanting, as that is the size of the box blade that was recommended, and sold with our tractor. Does anyone have experience with these on the Max 26 or 28, and how does it work? Thanks in advance for all the help.

Depending on the type of driveway you have (hilly, flat, rolling, curves etc) I would consider the length of the land plane. I have found that a longer plane generally makes it easier for the gravel to level out. It provides more spacing in between the blades for material to settle and also handles the washboard effect a bit better. Just something to consider when comparing your list.

I bought a Mahindra grader when I got my 2538, no shanks, & it does a great job spreading asphalt millings and leveling. Long & wide.

Here's a pic of the Land Shark land plane in black. I was at home when I replied last and didn't have a pic at my disposal.

It ended up on a Cub Cadet "bumblebee" tractor!

That sure looks nice Ted! In the spring, I am going to add a land plane to the fleet and I would think a Mahindra 2538/38 HP tractor could tote your 6 footer..........
