Lamborghini 550DT frontloader hydraulic connection.

Hello all,

My Lamborghini 550DT has a front loader and it´s hydraulics are connected to the rear hydraulic output.

I have been told that it should be better to connect it to the main hydraulic line, but I don´t know if it´s possible and how to do it.

Can any one help me with this issue?

If the hydraulic pump is a tandem unit one pump will be for the power steering, the other supplies the lift and aux. and can be tapped into on the output.

If the unit has just a single pump, tapping off the power steering priority valve will be required.

Sorry, I don't have a 550, but have done what you are trying to do on a Hurlimann.

Thanks for the answer, in my tractor has a single pump only that works both for steering, PTO, lift and the two aux outputs.

Hello,

With a single pump, that means there should be a flow divider somewhere so you never lose steering regardless of using the loader, 3 pt lift or the rear aux outputs. So the best place would be to get the line that comes off the flow divider and feeds the rest of the system (3 pt lift, rear aux outputs).

Maybe the guys at Fluidraulica in Braga can provide you with some better insight and all the right fittings, hoses, etc.
