LA853 FEL

Question:

Is the LA853 quick hitch skid steer a good option? Better yet, can I get some sort of root rake attachment to clear palmettos?

Yes on both accounts. We have honey suckle in all the hedge rows here and many of the farmers use the rock rakes with the teeth in the ground about four or five inches and they pop right out. The difference in them is the thickness for the bars and the reinforcement bars that go in between them.

Joe, I use the 753 FEL on a Grand L3430...used the attached 60" root grapple for palmetto when I lived in South Georgia...worked like a dream.

It is my favorite attachment for the quick attach FEL, I found the 60' works better than the 72"...weighs less and therefore lets you pick up more...haven't missed the extra foot width when clearing /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
