L45 stalls when pressing the HST pedal

My L45 has about 1550 hours on it and has been serviced by the dealer regularly. I was using the L45 last evening for a few hours hand bombing old interlock bricks into the bucket and driving about a city block and dumping the bricks into my trailer. I used the backhoe to loosen up the interlock so all the hydraulics were working fine. After five rounds of this I parked the L45 for the night. This morning I started the Kubota to move some more bricks but as soon as I press the HST pedal the engine stalls. The brake is not on, HST oil level is full and even if I rev the engine up it stalls as soon as I press the HST pedal. I can use the backhoe and loader and the engine does not stall. Does anyone have any idea why my L45 is stalling when I press the HST pedal?

Does it shut right off or bog down until you let up?

If it shuts down then check your safety interlocks starting with your seat switch.

If it bogs down I would have said brake...did you try low gear first? Outriggers up? Plugged fuel filter or fuel valve shut off? Raccoons in your airbox?

Thanks Mike. I have been having some issues with the seat and you are correct - it was the seat switch and I have rectified the prolem.

As he already noted, it was the driver presence seat safety switch.

Hi. I had the same when my young son was in the seat. It looks to be the weight safety sensor in the seat...
