Thanks for your input, I should have been a bit more descriptive. Just a couple of things.
1) I should have stated that the 3pt has this "lag" throughout the whole range of use not just from the lowest point. I checked out a new Grand L and it responded quick to slight lever movements and only moved up about a 1/4 of an inch at a time. Mine mooves 1 in to 1.5 in at a time.
2) I was a ware of the "float" on 3pt. My comment on the fact that I could lift the arms by hand was just to let everyone know that there is no binding that would hamper the operation. Thanks again.
