L4240HSTC price

Can anyone give me an opinion on a price quote I received for a new L4240HSTC-3 with filled R1 tires and a LA854 Loader with skid steer type quick attach bucket. The price is $33,900 + tax.

If I go to Kubota.com and "build my kubota" you're looking at a little north of $36k. So the price quoted looks like a decent starting place. if you don't elect to take advantage of the 0% interest financing, you can probably move them down a little as well.

I've been tractor shopping for about two months now. It seems like the Kubota dealers will qoute around 15% less than the online "build and quote" prices. I checked 6 different setups at three diffferent dealer and they all came out in the same neighborhood. The quote I recieved for a 3940HSTC fitted out just like you described came in basically an even 30k.

I paid $33,600 in 2008 for that same exact set-up.

Have prices gone up that much? We paid $26K for an L3940 -3 with filled R4's, loader, bucket with tooth bar, and a bale spear. The highest price we got was $27K.

Without cab , about same price.

I doubt what i paid would help you because I got the mid PTO and front blower added into the price. I would think a good price for a 4240 cab would be around $31kish.
