L4060 seat question

Been looking at an L4060, the standard suspension seat doesn’t suspend me at all (240lbs) with the springs maxed out. The dealer suggests upgrading to an air ride set, it appears that the seat upgrade doesn’t support unattended PTO operations. I use my chipper a lot so that‘s an issue, putting some weight in the seat or bypassing the seat safety switch altogether, both seem like a cheesy solution for a tractor in this price range. I’ve reviewed many of the previous threads on the seat issue and was wondering if there are more recent elegant solutions.

I just used my unattended pto seat switch running a generator. I wouldn't want to lose it.
It seems to me the OEM seat flip switch wiring could just be adopted to a dash switch easy enough. I guess the only downside is that if you forget to flip it back off when done.

I'm in excellent health, and if I did have a health issue I wouldn't be addressing it in a tractor forum.

Options:
Something heavy in the seat.
Chop up the wiring to permanently bypass the seat sensor.
Chop up the wiring and add a switch to bypass the seat sensor.
Chop up the wiring to add a switch & non-latching relat bypass the seat sensor but would reset when powered off.

It's not a simple on-off switch to bypass the sensor. There are 3 wires, if i remember. And you need to switch each differently. Not rocket science, but does take some wiring skill.

I bought a Grammer suspension seat for my BX. That Kubota seat was killing my back.

I had Grammar air ride seats on my old L3430 and now on my new L6060. I had planned to put in a bypass switch on both machines but never got around to it. For now, I just weight the seat. Not elegant but it works.

Thanks for the inputs, I'm going to go with a model that has PTO controls on the fender and a stock seat that works for me.
